Founded in 1975 on 150 sprawling acres in Little Compton, Rhode Island, Sakonnet Vineyards is New England’s oldest vineyard.  Sakonnet Vineyard was owned by Susan and Earl Samson until 2013, when it was purchased by Carolyn Rafaelian and thus became Carolyn's Sakonnet Vineyard. The goal was to create an  identity system that more accurately represents the feeling
of visiting Little Compton, Rhode Island.
